The location was marvellous and beautiful, at a medium distance from a massive steel arched bridge. I was pleased with brilliant service. The hotel's staff were amazingly great all the time.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were very arrogant.

Very nice location with fine views of the harbor bridge! The rooftop bar was a good surprise, perfect for evening cocktails. Plus, the staff greeted me with warm smiles, which definitely made my check-in a bit better. The nearby Barangaroo Park was a hit, especially with the free concerts happening during my stay.
Now for the bummer part. My room was super cramped, and the shower felt ridiculously small. I dealt with a strong smell of cooking coming from somewhere, which was just unpleasant. the air conditioning was a joke – it got stuffy quickly. The check-in process was chaotic too; they seemed pretty disorganized. it needs some serious updates!

Review: The location is fantastic, a peaceful area yet close to the city and harbour. The mini bar selection was excellent, and the room provided ample space for a solo traveller. Although the bathroom could use a bit more privacy, the shower products were excellent. a good spot for a short getaway. , rating: 8, date of stay: 2023-09-20}

I was eager to visit the Sydney Observatory, drawn by its rich astronomical history and stunning views of the city. Choosing Palisade for its proximity was a no-brainer! I was pleasantly surprised by the free WiFi, which made it easy to plan my visits. The rooftop restaurant's dishes designed for sharing added a good twist to my experience, offering a great opportunity to sample various flavors while enjoying the amazing skyline.
Creaky floorboards were a bit distracting.

The view from our room was fine and really
The heritage decor added character, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The lack of air conditioning made it a bit uncomfortable during the hotter moments of the day.

The top-level bar had fantastic views of the city and we were just a 10-minute walk from the vibrant area of The Rocks. While the room wasvery comfy and tidy, I did notice a bit of limited storage space in the bathroom.
